We said goodbye to Andalusia and now are in the medieval town of Segovia, North-West of Madrid.
First, the castle – Alcazar of Segovia. It is believed to be the prototype for the Disney castles. It is really something.
From the top of the castle is an excellent view of the medieval walled city of Segovia. We walk through the narrow streets following the walls of the city.
On the other side of town is the famous Roman aqueduct of Segovia. It is the first century, 2,700-foot-long aqueduct which stretches throughout the city.
